When should I acid wash my pool?

Typically, an acid wash is recommended every other time you drain and refill your pool. Since draining and refilling is recommended every 2-3 years, an acid wash would be needed every 5-6 years. However, if you see light staining across the plaster, it may be time for an acid wash.

Is it worth it to clean your own pool?

If you have experience maintaining pools and own the right equipment, this may be a good option for you. But if maintaining your own pool involves trial and error, and purchasing, maintaining and replacing your own equipment, you may want to think twice. Maintaining a pool also involves chemical management, problems that require a professional, and enough free time to devote to it. You may find that it’s more money and trouble than it’s worth.

How often should a pool be cleaned?

Pool cleaning should be a weekly routine and the filter should be cleaned every 3-6 months. We can help, give us a call if you live in the Grapevine area!
